  1. "little twat." Nice! That’s one of the smaller responses I’ve read in a while. MENSA.

Women were never barred from practicing yoga, you little twat ! Stop peddling rubbish as if it is the truth. There are certain postures that are not recommended for women during their periods and pregnancy, which makes sense because these postures put pressure on the uterus. Other than that, women in India have been and are practicing yoga from time immemorial, including women in my family for generations.

  3. Thank you for all the info!
The second link doesn’t work (error message), but clicking the search box – next to the word ‘sitar’ – does the trick.
The first one is very good. A drone, indeed. I can hardly stop listening, it’s almost instantly trance-inducing :-)

  4. Oh, ok, I didn’t know that! To me it sounded exactly like a sitar.
I googled some pictures and it does look different, but I can’t really hear where the difference in sound is (yet)… could you tell me how to hear the difference between sitar and tanpura?

The video is excellent. However I have a request to the indiavideoorg/ up loader. The appearance "indiavideoorg" on the bottom side is distracting and disturbing the view. I would like to closely observe the foot positioning. The writing is making it difficult to view properly. Hence please write your logo in any other place where it is not hiding the body movements. Thanks in advance.

  6. Oops… I meant "predisposed"… sorry for making it even more complicated 😉

  7. Oh great! It means I love sitar :) Thanks

  8. It’s a sitar. Do a YouTube search on Ravi Shankar and you’ll see :-)

  9. I agree with almost everything you stated there, except for one thing: don’t you think that men are kind of predispositioned to be distracted by a female model?
For me personally, sex is also irrelevant. If this had been a woman, it would also have been fine with me.
But from a (heterosexual) man’s point of view, I can imagine he cannot fully concentrate with a perfectly shaped lady in a tutorial. I’m afraid it’s just a fact of life.

  10. which instrument is playing in the background?

  11. YOga is commercialized worldwide, more so in the Western countries. I think a lot of people are stealing this amazing transcending form of postures into business. It should be taught free with one thing in mind, human well-being and behavior!..

  12. This video is 100-times better for me than all those well-instructed manuals. Today I came across dozens and dozens of Sun Salutations but they all were same: the instructor got "frozen" after every few seconds and he/she spoke about correct breathing and body posture, etc. But after 2 hours of watching I still couldn’t understand how the Sun Salutation should actually look like. This is the first video where I can see it in fluency. And now I FINALLY understand the correct breathing

This is the art of body!

  14. Think with love, love yourself and others, take all this for what it is, think about what you want (without focusing on the negative), and everything in your life will be fine), you just need to allow yourself to be happy, because we all deserve it, and then the whole universe will help you achieve the divine happiness) 777ALAJE vid also help to live in love and harmony), love and light to all), the more good people and good thoughts, the happier life on the planet), all is for the better)

  15. very beautiful!!!…. thank you!!!!…

  16. THAT is yoga!

  17. The Best one on hindu pushups.

  18. It is the lack of spoken voice that makes this so nice, not the practitioner’s sex. FYI women were barred from learning yogic traditions for thousands of years. I agree–there are a lot of silly videos (I sifted through quite a few), but there are plenty of women skillfully teaching technique and breath. I found quite a few of those too. I like this particular video for the slow demonstration; you can really glean his technique. The music is meditative and lovely. But sex is irrelevant.

  19. perfect, perfect !

  20. this one seems the best and most real
